R. Scott Goering was born and raised in Kansas, graduating from Kansas State University with a degree in Accounting.  He started his accounting career working in a bank, just as his father and grandfather before him.  Later experience included Accountant, Controller, and CFO positions in the Animal Health, Dairy, and Health Care industries, and in various high-tech manufacturing entities, along with supervising computer departments in several.  While working for these companies, Scott was able to provide management with insightful business analysis and review, budgeting and planning, internal controls, and professional financial, accounting, and business leadership.

Scott’s wife Kathy attended the University of Illinois, and began her accounting career working for a trucking firm in Urbana.  She went on to work at a Rolls-Royce dealership (no free samples unfortunately!), followed by many years keeping track of state and research funds at Texas A&M University.  For almost 17 years, she worked at a small manufacturing firm, which gave her additional experience in all aspects of small business accounting, including Payroll, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Automated Accounting, Shipping, Journal Entries, Bank Statement Reconciliation, and Financial Statements.

Our consulting partner for IT/Computer Support is certified and trained in computer network design and implementation, cost-efficient hardware and software selection and installation, plus computer security and wireless operations.  He has worked for both large and small companies in their computer departments, providing professional hardware, software, and network support, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and security implementation.  Whatever you need help with in the area of Information Technology, our Computer Expert can solve your problems and make the use of computers in your business a much less daunting task, and a more cost-efficient tool for managing your business.
